SharePoint news data sources now read modern SharePoint news posts. With Fetch full article content they include the article text, and with Include news from the entire hub they combine the news of a hub site and all its associated sites, newest first.
News items come with the original banner image instead of a small thumbnail, and with your own page properties as extra fields. Images from SharePoint and attachments of Teams messages are stored by Lumicast, so displays load them quickly and they keep working after Microsoft's links expire.
