Statement by Tom Banwell

I have spent my entire adult life working in the arts. In 1985 I began reproducing my own woodcarvings and sculptures in casting resin, and I devoted the next several years to learning the subtleties of the medium.

In 1992 I formed Tom Banwell Designs, Inc. to make silicone rubber molds and custom resin castings for sculptors and businesses. Today we are a small group of conscientious craftsmen who put our emphasis on quality workmanship. We specialize in figurines, awards, plaques and giftware prototypes.

Located in northern California, our studio is equipped with pressure pots, vacuum chambers, rotocasters, and a laser cutter and engraver, allowing us to produce top notch three dimensional resin reproductions.
