The Ogre Meets the Dragons

In this mixed media figurative sculpture Muttonhead the ogre has stumbled upon a clutch of golden dragon eggs, two of which have hatched. The baby dragons have imprinted on the ogre, and his hard heart has melted.

The base has the title engraved on the front. The artist's name, 1998, and number of the edition are engraved on the back of the piece. The ogre carries his lunch, consisting of two chicken legs, on his belt.

Muttonhead is made of Lumicast™ resin. The dragons, base, chicken legs, ogre teeth, and moss are made of urethane resin. The dragon eggs are made of polyester resin. The eyes are acrylic. Muttonhead's cowl, belt, sandals, and bracelet are made of leather. His pants and shirt are made of raw silk. His hair is wool. Every part of the sculpture, except for the eyes, is handmade by the artist.

The size is 13" high x 10" wide x 13" deep.
